Jersey,Channel Islands is the birthplace of Cavill.Marianne and Colin Cavill are his parents. He was educated at St Michael's Preparatory School in Saint Saviour, Jersey. Then he joined Stowe School in Stowe, Buckinghamshire.

Personal life

Cavill engaged to Ellen Whitaker. Nevertheless, their engagement ended in 2012. He is a fan of the American football team the Kansas City Chiefs.

Acting Career

Cavill began his film career in 2001 with a film Laguna. From 2001 to present,he played role in various films like Justice League 2, Mission: Impossible - Fallout, Justice League (3D), Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice (3D), The Man from U.N.C.L.E, Man of Steel (2D English), The Cold Light Of Day, Immortals, Tristan & Isolde, The Count Of Monte Cristo and Laguna.
