Visit to a Zoo

Zoo is a place where we can see different animals and birds at one place. It has a great attraction, particularly for children. A visit to a zoo gives us both information and entertainment. We come to learn about the rare species.

There is a famous zoo in Lahore. It is near Jinnah garden. It has a big iron gate. There is a wall around the zoo. Wild animals are kept here. There are many grassy plots in the zoo. Birds like sparrows pigeons and peacocks are kept in cages.

Animals like lions bears and monkeys are kept in iron enclosures. Ducks cranes and geese swim in the ponds. Elephants zebras and stags are seen in grassy plots. They are given good food Many people visit the zoo daily.

We spent five hours in the zoo. We took a full round of it and enjoyed ourselves a lot. We were happy to see all those animals with our own eyes about which we read in books. The memory of the visit still fills us with thrill and excitement.
