Australia vs India 2020-21 2nd ODI
Australia won the toss and elected to bat first. The hosts were off to yet another fantastic start as David Warner and skipper Aaron Finch were involved in yet another 100-plus partnership. Steve Smith, too, continued his form from the first match and went on to score a splendid 64-ball 104. Australia finished with a superb score of 389 for just four wickets.
A late Glenn Maxwell blitzkrieg of 63 runs helped in his team's high total. The Indians came in to bat, but, the openers failed to establish their dominance, and, both Shikhar Dhawan and Mayank Agarwal fell cheaply. Skipper Virat Kohli held his end from one side, but, wickets kept on falling at regular intervals. Kl Rahul built a good partnership with Kohli, and, it looked as if India could come back in the game. But, unfortunately, that couldn't happen as India went on to lose the match by 51 runs as they could only score 338 runs for nine wickets after 50 overs.
