Mumbai, India is the birthplace of Sinha.Shatrughan Sinha and Poonam Sinha are her parents. She attended Arya Vidya Mandir. Then she graduated in fashion designing from Damodar Women's University.

Sonakshi is still unmarried. However, she has a boy friend named Aditya Shroff.

Acting Career

Sonakshi made her career debut in 2005 as a costume designer.
