Discipline means systematic training in obedience to regulations and authority. In the whole universe, every natural thing is disciplined whether it is the movement of planets or the change of seasons. In fact, discipline is the key factor for a successful development of everything.
Life is a short span of time which requires a careful planning. But it is a great pity that like other things the man in the street does not discipline his life in our society. Consequently, we are lagging far behind the civilized world. A glimpse of our everyday life apparently shows that we are a nation lacking a great deal in discipline. Traffic on roads, crowd at the bus stop and disorder at every public place are the common scenes that show our disruption in general.
In our society, the sense of human rights is non-existent. Everyone wants to surpass others irrespective of his turn. In such a selfish atmosphere discipline cannot pave its way.
In our culture, no one bothers to wait for his turn. The nation is in a state of haphazard hurry. Time-management is an integral part of a disciplined life. But let me say that most of the people have no strict schedule of their daily life. They are only flowing with the current of the circumstances.
