It is a plain fact that everybody is dissatisfied with the government and wants to bring some changes in the set-up but does not have power to do so. There is a lot of fuss to be settled.
The columnists and analysts often advise the government to manage affairs. But the authorities always have their own way to deal with the problems and they hardly pay any attention to it.
I have a different approach. If I were a Prime Minister I would like to see Pakistan different than it is nowadays. There is a long list of actions which I would like to take as a Prime Minister.
As charity begins at home, first of all I would decrease the expenses of the Prime Minister House. I would certainly curtail my foreign tours and pay attention to the affairs at home.
We are facing a host of problems. There is a need to address them in common interest. I would strengthen the institutions to solve the problems in a professional way ensuring them no interference from any corner.
I would invite international companies for ample supply of electricity on affordable rates. I would make fresh and clean water available to every soul at any place across the country. 1 would take urgent measures to reduce pollution.
I would ensure free medical facilities and free education to everyone across the country. I would allocate generous budget to both sectors. I would ensure the public the basic needs of their life. I would also take account of demand and supply at national level to devise a plan for adequate supply of goods and services to the whole population of the county.
