Teach and Train the Nation

Teacher is the person who affects the innocent souls most. He teaches them, trains them, polishes them and prepares them to face the challenges of life. He makes them useful members of society.

Children and the youth spend most of their time in the company of teachers so it is natural that they are impressed much by them. Now it is up to the teachers how they lead them to be prepared as good and useful citizens.

It is said that there is always an able person behind an able person. And usually this person is a teacher. But alas the man in the street does not realize this fact and always underestimates the work of a teacher and that is the very reason that he does not give much importance to him. A common man develops friendly relations to everyone where he finds his interest or gain but he never establishes a keen relationship with a teacher because he is not aware of a teacher’s role in making a nation.

True Sense of Education

In fact, majority of people themselves are not educated in the true sense of the word. Thus they are not aware of the right paths to education for their offspring. Then a large number of people have joined the profession of teaching without serious inclination. This also affected their performance.

In our society, the professionals who have the capacity of giving others immediate profit or loss are respected the most while the work of a teacher gives the fruit after a long struggle. In this situation, the response of the public is passive and rather apathetic, and not as regardful as it should be.

Realization of Teacher's Work

Unless and until the society does not realize the importance of a teacher’s work, it cannot perceive the value of a teacher. And until we do not give teacher a fair share of status in society. We cannot uplift humanity.

All the big guns in the society are the product of teachers. Teacher directly influences the generations that is why God has sent the Holy Prophet (PBUH) as a teacher to teach and reform the ignorant mankind.

Keeping in view the importance of teaching, the government should devise a proper plan of induction of the teachers. They must be given more importance and resources of subsistence. They should be relieved from the pressure of basic needs of life so that they may pay full attention to their work in the best interest of the nation and mankind.
