God Made

Any area outside towns and cities, with fields, woods, farms, etc. is called country. The features of country life are quite different than urban life. Urban life is mainly man-made while country life is natural as God has made it.

In cities, man has changed the face of earth according to his needs while in-country he did not need drastic changes. Even today country life is full of natural beauty and innocent pleasures. There are green trees lined on the verge of rough paths. Villages are full of greenery meadows, flowers plants, weeds, woods, streams, birds, fields, grass, and lakes. Peace and tranquility reign supreme everywhere there.

Morning walk in Meadows

Green fields of corn refresh the sight. There is no heavy industry to pollute the pure atmosphere. One can enjoy the beauty of nature all around. Chirping birds returning to their nests in the evening present a lovely scene. There is no one to disturb the serenity of such scenes and sights. Cool fresh breeze in the morning leaves a lasting effect on the mind and body. A walk through fields and meadows early in the morning is indeed a wonderful experience. Flower-gathering and fruit-picking in the garden are pure pleasures that can only be experienced in the countryside.

Joys and Sorrows of Country life

Country life has distinct features. The whole community is deeply associated with one another. They share their joys and sorrows. They help one another in times of trouble. The character of every person is open to others. They observe their customs and enjoy their culture.

Nowadays the people in small villages also lead a reasonable life. Their purchasing power is better than in the past. They have modern facilities for education and health. Now amenities of everyday life are available in the villages. Small businesses are flourishing there, providing the public with better opportunities for shopping.

Lacks of modem facilities

The charms of country life are unprecedented though the villages lag far behind the towns in the availability of modem facilities of life. Owing to this very reason, a dominant trend of shifting from villages to towns exists in our country. it is certainly a problematic trend for the government. The only solution in this regard is that the government should provide the maximum necessities of life to the villagers so that the massive influx of population into the cities may not aggravate the problems of already over-populous cities.
